Mahira Hafeez Khan popularly known as Mahira Khan is a Pakistani actress. In 2006, she began her career as a VJ and later made her big screen debut in 2011 with the movie Bol.
Mahira Khan Early Life
Mahira Hafeez Khan was born on 21st December 1984 in Karachi, Pakistan. Her father Hafeez Khan, was born in Delhi, British India, and migrated to Pakistan after the partition of India. She belongs of Pashtun descent.
During her studies in the United States, Mahira used to work as a cashier at a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles.

Mahira began her career as a VJ in 2006. She used to host the live show Most Wanted on MTV Pakistan which was aired three days a week.
In 2011, she made her film debut in a supporting role in the movie Bol. In the same year, she made her TV drama debut in Neeyat.
In 2013, she appeared in Sarmad Khoosat-directed Shehr-e-Zaat. The drama earned her Best Actress Awards from Pakistan Media Awards and Hum Awards.
In 2015, she starred opposite Humayun Saeed in the film Bin Roye. In the same year, she played a supporting role in the biographical film Manto.
In early 2017, Mahira made her debut in the Hindi film industry in Rahul Dholakia’s Indian film Raees.
In 2017, Mahira made her singing career when she starred as a rape victim in Shoaib Mansoor’s social drama film Verna.
In 2018, she starred in Meenu Gaur-Farjad Nabi’s romantic comedy 7 Din Mohabbat In. In 2019, she starred in the romantic, musical-drama film Superstar, her highest-grossing film domestically at the time.
In March 2022, she made her debut as a producer with a web series titled Baarwan Khiladi. In later 2022, she was seen in the Punjabi-language action drama film The Legend of Maula Jatt alongside Fawad Khan.

In 2006, Mahira met Ali Askari in Los Angeles. Although, Mahira’s family was against their marriage but subsequently got married to him in 2007. In 2009, they have their son, Azlan Askari, and in 2015, they got divorced.
Mahira Khan Education
Mahira attended her schooling at Foundation Public School. At the age of 17, she moved to California for higher education, where she attended Santa Monica College. She attended the University of Southern California for her bachelor’s degree but did not complete her undergraduate degree and returned to Pakistan in 2008.
