Jawan is an upcoming Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Filming
Principal photography began in Pune in September 2021. Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara participated in the 10-day shoot. Khan resumed the shoot in Hyderabad in June 2022. After her marriage, Nayanthara joined the Mumbai schedule on 26 June 2022. This schedule included some family sequences.
In August, the next schedule started in Chennai, where Deepika Padukone shot her cameo part. Later, Vijay Sethupathi joined the shoot. Some action sequences between Khan and Sethupathi were taken in this schedule. A song featuring Priyamani and Khan was also shot in this schedule, in jail. A month-long Chennai schedule was wrapped on 7 October.
Jawan Movie Release Date
Jawan film will be released on 1, June 2023 & will be available in all south Indian languages, plus, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Kannada.
The next schedule was held in Rajasthan in October. Khan and Nayanthara joined this 20–days schedule. The next schedule was held in February 2023, where Khan shot some chase scenes. Sanjay Dutt joined the shoot on March 20, 2023, to shoot an action-packed cameo.
The film was shot across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad.
Music
R. Rahman was reportedly approached by director Atlee to compose for the film. Rahman subsequently declined the offer for reasons unknown, and Anirudh Ravichander was chosen to compose for the film, who would thus mark his debut as a solo composer in Bollywood, previously having composed a song for David and the background score of Jersey. The music rights were bagged by T-Series.

The Jawan movie is going to be one of SRK’s best films because he looks amazing in the teaser and because it seems like Atlee will have him playing a more common character. However, the financiers haven’t provided any information on the digital rights because it’s too soon to talk about them. The Jawan Budget has been estimated. With a huge Jawan budget of Rs 200 Crores, Jawan will need to perform incredibly well at the box office to recoup its expenses.
