Biography
IAS Mangesh Ghildiyal was born in Dandyu village in Pauri district. Her father was the headmaster of the primary school and the mother is a homemaker. Mangesh did his primary education in Dandu village. For further studies, he used to go to the Government Higher Primary School, Patotia, five km from the village. After that, he went to Ramganar and studied from ninth to graduation.

Wife and Family
Mangesh Ghildiyalji’s wife’s name is Usha Ghildiyal, who was earlier a senior scientist at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. But now she is leaving her job and working for the betterment of education in Rudraprayag district. They have a daughter.
