Sayyeshaa is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil films. She is the grandniece of actor Saira Banu. In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in the movie film Shivaay.
Sayyeshaa Personal Life
Sayyeshaa was born on 12th August 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to Sumeet Saigal, an actor, and Shaheen Banu. In 2003, Sayyeshaa’s parents got divorced and in the same year, Sumeet got married to Farah Naaz.
Sayyeshaa’s family has a filmy background. She is the grandniece of actor Saira Banu and the great-granddaughter of Naseem Banu.
Sayyeshaa Career
In 2015, she made her film debut with the Telugu film Akhil. The film was a commercial failure. She received SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu nomination for the film.
In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in the movie film Shivaay. The movie was commercially unsuccessful but ran for more than 50 days at the box office. She received a Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female nomination for her performance.
In 2017, she made her Tamil film debut with Vanamagan, playing the role of a businesswoman opposite Jayam Ravi. In 2018, she was seen in three movies- Kadaikutty Singam, Junga, and Ghajinikanth.
In 2019, she portrayed the role of PM’s press secretary opposite Suriya in the film Kaappaan. The movie was a commercial success. In 2021, she was seen in two movies- Teddy, released on Disney+ Hotstar, and Yuvarathnaa which marked her Kannada film debut.
In 2023, she was seen in the Tamil movie Pathu Thala.
Sayyeshaa Relationship
In 2018, she met Arya, a Tamil actor, on the sets of Ghajinikanth. On 10th March 2019, she got married to him according to Islamic traditions in Hyderabad. On 23rd July 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter named Ariana.
