Savannah was born on 27 August 1986 in Akron, Ohio, United States to Jennifer Brinson, a registered nurse from Ohio, and JK Brinson, an accomplished businessman. Savannah’s father JK was a former employee at Akron Paint & Varnish Engineered Coatings. He also served as staff at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for a short period before returning to his business.
Savannah thanked her mother Jennifer for everything she did to keep the family going. Jenni was instrumental in nurturing and instilling a heart of goodness and nobility.

In addition to hosting Women of Our Future, Savannah has hosted her annual I PROMise Makeover for high school students in Akron every year since 2011.
