Rita Ora’s parents are Vera and Besnik Sahatçiu. Her father, Besnik, is a Kosovar Albanian, and her mother, Vera, is a Catholic of Albanian and Croatian descent. Both her parents were born in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, and moved to the UK in 1991 during the Kosovo War. They settled in London and had two children, Rita, and her brother Don.
