Rita Ora’s parents are Vera and Besnik Sahatçiu. Her father, Besnik, is a Kosovar Albanian, and her mother, Vera, is a Catholic of Albanian and Croatian descent. Both her parents were born in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, and moved to the UK in 1991 during the Kosovo War.
