ED Raids Hero MotoCorp Chairman’s Premises

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out searches at various premises associated with Pawan Munjal, the executive chairperson of Hero Motocorp, and others. This action was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) as part of an investigation into the possession of undeclared foreign currency. The 69-year-old businessman, who is the promoter of the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing company, had his residential and business properties in Delhi and Gurugram, along with connected entities, searched by officials.
