Megan Gale was born on 7 August 1975 in Parmelia, Western Australia, Australia to an English father and a Maori mother. Her mother’s name is May Gale. Megan has two elder brothers.
On 14th July 2020, one of Gale’s brothers got missing from the Popanyinning General Store, 160km southeast of his Perth home. One week later, he was found dead in bushland next to his 1999 Honda CR-V SUV.

Gale won a modeling competition in Perth at the age of 18. After several years of modeling, Gale became famous when in 1999 she was chosen to appear in advertisements for the Italian telecommunications company Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy).
