Kevin Durant was born on 29th September 1988, in Washington, D.C., United States to Wayne Pratt and Wanda Durant. He has a sister, Brianna, and two brothers, Tony and Rayvonne. When Kevin was an infant, his father left his family and later Kevin’s parents got divorced. When he became 13 years old, his father returned to his life and traveled with him to different parts of the country for basketball tournaments.
On 7th April 2017, he created a YouTube account and soon began to upload live-stream vlogs onto it. In 2020, his business venture Thirty Five Ventures produced Basketball County, a documentary about youth basketball in Durant’s home county of Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Durant was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics as the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. In his first regular season game, 19-year-old Durant had 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists against the Denver Nuggets. After Durant’s debut season in 2008, the SuperSonics moved from Seattle to Oklahoma City, became the Thunder, and changed their colors to blue, orange, and yellow. Averaging 30.1 points per game, Durant became the NBA’s youngest leading scorer and was named to his first All-NBA team.
