G Flip Personal Life
G Flip was born on 22 September 1994 in Melbourne, Australia. She has siblings named María, Marina, Dolores, and Macarena.
Flip is openly lesbian. On June 13, 2021, Flip was revealed as non-binary on Instagram. They use the singular they/them pronouns. Flip has been a keen supporter of the Collingwood Football Club since birth and is a supporter of AFL Women. They performed at the 2021 NAB AFLW Grand Final at the MCG.

Flip has been playing drums since the age of nine, and percussion continues to form a large part of their songwriting, despite now being a multi-instrumentalist. They said they “spent most of 2017 writing and recording in their bedroom”, previously appearing at various Melbourne gigs as session drummers and occasional backing vocals. In February 2018, they uploaded their debut single “About You” to Triple J Unearthed and their track premiered on Triple J on the same day. The song was officially released on March 2, 2018, Pitchfork named it “Best New Song” and their iPhone-filmed music video was featured on YouTube’s New Music playlist. Due to international interest in their project, Flip was invited to play her first solo show at SXSW in Austin, Texas later the following month.
