Chrishell Stause was born on 21 July 1981 in Draffenville, Kentucky, United States to Ranae Stause and her husband. His biological father was half Spanish and half Japanese. Chrishell’s parents divorced before Chrishell was born. In one of her Instagram QandA sessions, the actress wished to meet him one day.
Chrishell’s mother then met Jeff, Chrishell’s stepfather. In her book Under Construction, Chrishell mentioned how her parents dealt with mental health and addiction issues and she had to live a difficult life because of it. She lost both her parents, Jeff and Ranae Stause, to lung cancer within two years, 2019 and 2020/21 respectively.

Stause is best known for her role as Amanda Dillon on the ABC soap opera All My Children, a role she began on May 4, 2005, when the character returned to Pine Valley after a five-year absence. The role of Amanda was previously played by Alexis Manta. The soap was canceled and ended on September 23, 2011, and Stause later guest-starred on Dana Delany’s Body of Proof.
She was a member of the Los Angeles improv troupe The Groundlings. In April 2013, it was announced that Stause had joined the cast of NBC’s Days of Our Lives.
