After portraying a con artist in his Prime Video web series Farzi, Shahid Kapoor is all set to rock the industry again with his next film of the same name, Bloody Daddy. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Shahid announced the film on his social media handles.

Story
Bloody Daddy is officially adapted from the French film of 2011, Nuit Blanche.
In the film, the actor plays the role of a loving father who is on the run to save his children from the mob. It will be an action thriller and Shahid will play the role of a father who gets involved in a lot of blood and carnage to protect his child.

The makers have released the first poster of Bloody Daddy. Shahid Kapoor shared the first poster of Bloody Daddy on Twitter and it’s as awesome as it gets. The actor can be seen with a bloody collar and injuries on his face. His rugged appearance gives insight into the action of the film “Teaser dropping bloody soon,” he captioned the photo.
Trailer
The trailer begins with Shahid making a stylish entry with a rousing background score enhancing his entry. He’s bruised and has a knife in one hand, but looks smart in a crisp suit.
In a short time, he made short works of con artists. Just when you can’t figure out exactly what Shahid’s character is doing, Sanjay Kapoor comes on screen and echoes a similar point. Frustrated by all the vigorous punching, he asks, “What’s going on?”
And then we are told why everything seems so dark and violent. Because “It’s about the mafia, drugs, police, family, and a lot of blood.”

Release
The film will be released on the OTT platform- Jio Cinema, hopefully on the 9th of June. The announcement of the release date was made during an event of Jio Studios, which was named Infinite Together.
