Ayesha was born on 12th October 1981 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Her parents’ names are Malik Omar and Bushra Omar. When Ayesha was one year old, her father passed away. She is raised by her mother as a single parent. She has a brother Aziz Omar, a step brother Rashad Omar, and a step-sister Jamila Omar.
During her school and college days, she participated in co-curricular activities and learned dance through theatre plays.

She sang her first song Man Chala Hai for her commercial Capri. Later she sang, Bhooli Yaadon Mein, Manjali, Aoa, and Tu Hi Ha.

She worked in many Urdu TV dramas such as Kaun (2001), Kuch Lamhe Zindagi Kay (2006), and Muthi Bhar Aasman (2006).
In 2009, she played the role of Khoobsurat in the Urdu TV drama Bulbulay. Later, she appeared in many famous TV dramas like Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat (2010), Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012), Mr. Shamim (2015), and Selahaddin Eyyubi (2022).
In 2014, she played the role of Qurat-ul-Ain in the Urdu telefilm Meri Guriya.
She also appeared in some Pakistani films such as Saat Din Mohabbat In (2018), Kaaf Kangna (2019), and Rehbra (2022).
