Sabbhineni Meghana is an Indian cricketer who has played for the Andhra and South Zone and currently plays for the Railways and India. She is considered one of the best-emerging cricketers in domestic cricket.

Sabbhineni was born on 7th June 1996 in Krishna, Andhra Pradesh, India. She comes from a middle-class family. Her father is a divisional engineer at NTPC thermal power station, and her mother is a homemaker. She has an elder sister named Geethika Sabbhineni.
Sabbhineni Meghana Career
She made her debut for the Andhra Pradesh women’s cricket team in 2014. She is a right-handed batswoman and a right-arm medium pacer.
Meghana’s early years in cricket were spent playing for Andhra Pradesh in the domestic circuit. In 2016, she was selected to play for the South Zone team in the Inter-Zonal Women’s One-Day Tournament. She was part of India’s victorious team in the 2016 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup.
She was the leading run-scorer in the 2021–22 Women’s Senior One Day Trophy, with 388 runs including one century and two half-centuries.
On 12th February 2022, she made her Women’s One Day International (WODI) debut, for India against New Zealand. In July 2022, she was named in India’s team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
In 2023, she playing for Gujarat Giants in Women’s Premier League.
