Nithin Kamath is the founder and CEO of Zerodha. He started trading stocks when his friends introduced him to the market when he was just 17 years old. He began trading in penny stocks. He accumulated enough money while pursuing an engineering degree from the Bangalore Institute of Technology. Then he lost it all – Rs 5 lakh in 2001-02 when the market crashed.
