Marc Terenzi Personal Life
Marc Terenzi was born on 27 June 1978 in Natick, Massachusetts, United States to Antoinette Terenzi, and Peter Terenzi. His parents are of Italian-American ethnicity.
At the age of three, his grandmother began teaching him in a dance studio. At the age of seven, he learned to play the piano by teaching himself at his mother’s church. He also taught himself to play the guitar when his father gave him a guitar as a Christmas present. At the age of 12, he began acting and hosting the Boston-based TV show Studio A.T.V.
Marc Terenzi Career
Terenzi took various jobs, including working as a doorman at the House of Blues in Orlando. Later, Terenzi befriended an actor named Ben Bledsoe. In 1999, the pair soon formed the boy band Natura with Michael Johnson, Patrick King, and later Josh Horn.
The group created a stir in the Orlando area and eventually caught the attention of boy band mogul Lou Pearlman. When they signed to Transcontinental Records, they released their first single, “Put Your Arms Around Me” in 2001. The single reached number 12 in the German charts.
Lacking American success, the group continued to release in Germany. Their debut album Keep It Natural reached number 2 on the German charts. By 2004, they had released two albums and nine singles. In 2002, Terenzi met German pop singer Sarah Connor. The couple began a secret relationship against Pearlman’s wishes. Pearlman had rules for his boy bands: “No facial hair, no girlfriends, no drinking in public.” In 2004, Connor became pregnant and the couple soon became engaged. Pearlman could no longer keep the relationship a secret but wanted to replace Terenz in the group. However, the other members refused and Natural disbanded after their last tour in 2004.
According to Natural, Terenzi originally planned to form a new band called Jaded Rose. However, he and the other members had creative differences, and his solo career was put on hold until 2005. Together with Connor, he participated in a one-off reality show on German television. The series was called Sarah and Marc in Love and it followed their private lives, planning their wedding and recording both albums.
Terenzi’s first solo single was called “Heat Between the Sheets”, which reached number 40 in the German charts. His next single “Love to Be Loved By You” reached number 3 in the German charts. The single was the song she played at the signing ceremony and therefore had a huge following. It became his theme song.
Terenzi released another single, “Can’t Breathe Without You”, as well as an album called Awesome, which peaked at number 8. In 2006, he embarked on a tour of the same name to support the album. After the tour, Terenzi released a new single, “You Complete My Soul”, in October 2006. It debuted at number 35 on the German charts. Despite this, the second album has not yet been released.
In 2007, after almost two years without an album, Terenzi left a message for his fans stating that he was still pursuing a music career: “I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me. It’s just because I’ve been looking for a time to find out who I am. Just because you haven’t heard from me lately doesn’t mean I’ve stopped working. There’s still a lot to come.”
On May 7, 2008, Terenzi announced on his official MySpace page that he had formed a new band. The project was described as more exciting and modern, bringing new music to fans both old and new. The members of the new group included Terenzi himself, along with Benny Richter and Michael Johnson (formerly of Natural). The group was busy in the studio and had big plans for the year ahead.
On May 21, it was announced that Terenzi and his wife would star in an eight-part reality series called Sarah and Marc in Love on ProSieben in Germany. The series premiered on July 3, 2008, and followed Connor’s return, the formation of Terenzi’s new group, his work in Terenzi’s Horror Nights, and the recording of his new album.
In June 2008, it was announced that Terenzi had formed a new group under the name “Terenzi”. The group consisted of Michael Johnson, Benny Richter, Kai Stuffel, and Christian Adameit. Their first single was a slow arrangement of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”, which was scheduled for release on August 8, 2008. The album, titled Black Rose, was set for release on August 28, 2008
In January 2017, he became a contestant in the German TV version of Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus! and won it. The show was the German version of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Marc Terenzi Halloween
In 2007, Marc announced that he was working on a project called “Terenzi’s Night of Horrors”, which took place every October weekend at Europa Park in Rust, Germany. The idea was to bring the American Halloween idea to Germany. Marc’s group also performed. Terenzi’s Horror Nights were scheduled to return in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Marc Terenzi Thrown Out Of Band
In 2020, former teen stars Jay Khan and Marc Terenzi announced the formation of a group. The former Natura singer and former member of US5 formed the group Team 5ünf together with three other colleagues. But in the end, the group was born without Marc Terenzi because he was expelled from the group. The reason for the action was that Marc often caused problems with the musician. Marc reportedly missed several practices. At an important photo shoot, he appeared with a black eye. The purple is visible in the photos available in the magazine.

The prosecutor is investigating Marc for sexual harassment. According to Bild newspaper, the accusation of sexual harassment stems from a report made by the mother of the alleged victim to the Leipzig police in 2022. The investigation is ongoing. The singer has not yet commented on the allegations.
