Katja Krasavice was born on 10 August 1996 in Teplice, Czech Republic. to a Czech mother and a Slovak father. When she was a baby, she along with her family moved to Liebschütz, Germany.
At the age of 5, Katja lost her brother due to thigh cancer. This incident caused her father to become an alcoholic and her mother to be violent. At the age of 11, she lost her second brother, who committed suicide in prison.

In 2020, Krasavice released the first single from her second album Eure Mami Million Dollar A$$ with German rapper Fler. The dirty rap track reached number 3 on the German charts, her best chart to date. Two pop singles, Ich seh and Alles schon gesehen, marked a marked break from her earlier style, with a melancholic tone and references to past relationships and tragedies in her own life. None of these songs achieved commercial success.
On January 8, 2021, she released Highway, the album’s fourth single, featuring German singer Elif. The album reached number one on the charts in Germany and Austria, while the single peaked at number 2 in Germany.
In April 2021, American rappers Saweetie and Doja Cat released several international remixes of their collaboration song Best Friend, featuring female rappers from around the world, and Katja Krasavice was selected as a guest artist for the German version of the song. Although the original version had not previously achieved commercial success in the German market, Katja Krasavice’s remix debuted at number 1, becoming her second chart-topper and the first for both Saweetie and Doja Cat.
In September 2021, Krasavice sang the title track of the third album, Pussy Power. The porn rap song with exercise elements expressing women’s sexuality became her third single at number one in Germany. The second single off the album followed in November in the form of the bilingual breakup dance pop song Raindrops featuring German singer Leony.

The album also hit number 1 on the Austrian charts. In May 2022, Katja Krasavice released a German cover version of the Modern Talking classic You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul with original band member Dieter Bohlen and German pop singer Pietro Lombardi. The song reached second place in the German charts.
