In his younger years, Dylan Brown played on the Hikurangi stage. He later went to Sydney, Australia, to continue his NRL career with the Parramatta Eels.
He then played for the Parramatta S.G ball team and the Harold Matthews Cup. His S.G Ball Squad defeated Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks 30-22 in the 2017 final.
Dylan Brown later started playing in the Jersey Flegg Cup in 2018. He again played five games, making his NSW Cup debut for the Wentworth Ville Magpies. He then re-signed with the club and played until the 2020 NRL season.
Dylan Brown made his NRL debut in round one against the Penrith Panthers and led the team to a 20–12 victory on 17 March 2019. Again, his team defeated the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 36–16 on 24 March 2019.

Dylan Brown kicked two goals against a hapless Gold Coast in a 46–6 win in round two of the 2020 NRL season. He suffered an ankle injury while playing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in round 16 of the 2020 NRL season. His team lost 38-0. He was taken off the field in Round 9 of the 2021 NRL season after suffering an injury while diving on Sydney Roosters’ Drew Hutchison. Charged With Sexual Touching
Dylan Brown, who Parramatta five-eighth, has been charged with five counts of non-consensual sexual touching following the alleged incident at the Double Bay Hotel on Saturday night.
A complaint about Brown, one of the Eels’ most famous players, was made to staff at the Golden Sheaf pub late on Saturday night. NSW police have confirmed Brown will be charged in Downing Canter Local Court this week.
“At approximately 11.40pm, officers from East Suburbs PAC were called to a hotel on South Head Rd in Double Bay following a report of sexual contact,” police said in a statement.
“A 22-year-old man was arrested by police and taken to Waverley Police Station, where he is accused of touching another person sexually without consent.
“He has been bailed to appear at Downing Canter Local Court on Wednesday, 7 June.”
The Eels have a bye this weekend and play the Bulldogs next Monday afternoon. “The Parramatta Eels have been notified of the Dylan Brown incident that occurred last night,” Parramatta said in a statement.
“The club has advised the NRL Integrity Unit in line with our normal process. As this is a police matter, the club will not be making any further comment at this stage.
An NRL spokesperson confirmed the NRL Integrity Unit is aware of the matter and is liaising with the Eels and NSW Police.
