Dayalan Hemalatha is an Indian cricketer who represents the Indian women’s national cricket team. She is a right-handed batter and bowls right-arm off-break.

Dayalan was born on 29th September 1994 in Chennai, India to Jayandhy Dayalan, and her father’s name is unavailable, he is a former district-level Kabaddi player. She has an elder sister, Deepa Dayalan
Dayalan used to play kho kho, athletics, and volleyball during her childhood and played cricket occasionally with the boys in her neighborhood. She began cricket training formally at the MAC Spin Foundation under the coach Peter Fernandez at the age of 17.
Dayalan Hemalatha Career
In 2011, she was selected for the under-19 Tamil Nadu team. In 2012, she played for the Under-19 South Zone and South Zone.
On 11th September 2018, she made her ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka.
In October 2018, she was selected for India’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. On 9th November 2018, she made her T20I debut for India against New Zealand.
She also played for the Tamil Nadu senior team till the 2019-20 season after which she started playing for Indian Railways in the 2020-21 season.
In 2019, she played in the Women’s T20 Challenge tournament for Trailblazers, and later in the 2020 seasons.
In the 2022-23 season, she won Senior T20 Trophy as an Indian Railways player, Interzonal Trophy as a Central Zone player, and Challenger Trophy as an India-D player.
In 2022, she was part of the Indian squad which won the T20 Asia Cup 2022.
In 2023, she was bought by the Gujarat Giants in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction for ₹ 30 lakhs.
