Story
Book Club 2: The next chapter finds all four women arriving in Italy on a European road trip that finds our heroine on a gondola, Vespa, and Eurostar en route to great…memories! Fonda’s character is getting married, so what better place for a bachelorette party than among the world’s best pasta, architecture, and culture? When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country race.

In May 2022, the American media company Variety announced that Book Club 2: The Next Chapter has begun. The movie is produced by Bill Holderman and Erin Simms and directed by Bill Holderman. The story has been given by Bill Holderman and Erin Simms.
With the sequel, the distribution company has been changed to Focus Features from Paramount Pictures in the United States, with Universal Pictures distributing in other markets.
The cinematography of the movie is handled by Andrew Dunn, edited by Doc Crotzer, and music is provided by Tom Howe.
