Alyssa Healy is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Australian women’s national team. She is a right-handed batter and wicketkeeper. As a child, she was not interested in cricket.

Alyssa was born on 24th March 1990 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia to Greg, who was a member of the Queensland squad, and Sandy Healy.
As a child, she was not interested in cricket but when she shifted to Sydney as a child, she was coaxed into taking up the sport by a friend.
Alyssa Healy Career
In 2006, she was selected as a wicketkeeper for Barker College First XI, at the age of 16. In January 2007, she was selected for the New South Wales team to play in the Under-19 interstate competition.
She made her senior debut for the New South Wales Breakers in the Australian domestic one-day league at the beginning of the 2007–08 season. At the end of the season, she was selected for the Under-23 Australian team to play a series against senior England and Australian teams.
In February 2010, she was selected for the Australian squad for the Rose Bowl series against New Zealand. On 10th February 2010, she made her ODI debut against New Zealand. Later, she was selected for the 2010 World Twenty20 in the West Indies.
On 22nd January 2011, she made her Test debut against England.
In 2017, she was selected as the wicketkeeper across all forms of the 2017 Women’s Ashes series in Australia.
In October 2018, she was selected for Australia’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. In November, she was named to the Sydney Sixers’ squad for the 2018–19 Women’s Big Bash League season.
In January 2020, she was selected for Australia’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
In April 2022, she was bought by the Northern Superchargers for the 2022 season of The Hundred in England. In the following month, she was selected for Australia’s team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
In 2023, she was bought by the UP Warriorz in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction.
