Marizanne Kapp is a South African international cricketer who plays for South Africa’s national women’s cricket team. She plays for Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). She plays as an all-rounder, a right-hand batter, and a right-arm medium bowler.

Marizanne was born on 4th January 1990 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa. In July 2018, she got married to her teammate and captain of the South African Women’s cricket team Dane van Niekerk.
Marizanne Kapp Career
In 2009, Marizanne made her WODI debut at the 2009 World Cup in Australia. On 16th June 2009, she made her T20 debut for South Africa against Australia Women’s team.
On 16th November 2014, she made her Test debut for South Africa against the India Women’s team.
In March 2018, she was awarded a national contract by Cricket South Africa ahead of the 2018–19 season. In October 2018, she was named to South Africa’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies.
In November 2018, she was named to the Sydney Sixers’ squad for the 2018–19 Women’s Big Bash League season. In September 2019, she was named to the M van der Merwe XI squad for the inaugural edition of the Women’s T20 Super League in South Africa.
In January 2020, she was selected for South Africa’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
In 2021, she was drafted by Oval Invincibles for the inaugural season of The Hundred. In February 2022, she was selected for South Africa’s team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
In May 2022, she played two matches for the Falcons team at the 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In July 2022, she was selected for South Africa’s team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
In 2023, she was bought by Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).
