On 13 August 1990, Nurshahila binti Amir Amzah was born in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her father, Amir Amzah Salleh, known by his stage name ND Lala, was a recording artist in the 1980s, while her mother, Fauziah Sarman, pursued a career as an actress. Music talent runs in her family as her younger sister, Nur Syuhada, also known as Syada Amzah, is a performer too. She attended Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Setapak Indah in Kuala Lumpur.

Shila Amzah, the 33-year-old singer, and social media influencer Ubai Mz, aged 25, were united in matrimony at Boathouse Ampang this morning at 10.27 am.

With a single declaration, the nikah ceremony officially marked them as husband and wife, witnessed by the bride’s father, the renowned singer from the 1980s, Datuk ND Lala, and Ustaz Hai Mohamad Khairi Hussein.
