Kalyan, born on either September 2 in 1968 or 1971 , originates from Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Konidela Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi. He is the younger sibling of Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu. During one of his public martial arts displays, he was bestowed with the name “Pawan.” Kalyan possesses a black belt in karate.
